Theory and Practice of the Development of a Ural Linguo-Regional Dictionary Aimed at Forming Communicative Competence of Foreign Students

Abstract. The aim of the study is to develop the theoretical and practical foundations for compiling a Ural linguo-regional dictionary of the Russian language for the development of the communicative competence of foreign students. The article deals with the issues of national linguistics and regional linguistics in the methodology of teaching Russian as a foreign language. The linguo-cultural and linguo-regional dictionaries are described as a possibility of accumulation of lexical units with national-cultural semantics. An analytical review of existing dictionaries is carried out; the selection criteria for vocabularies are given. The scientific novelty lies in the creation of a linguo-regional dictionary (this article contains the part about Ural History), aimed at developing the linguo-regional competence and tools for upgrading it among foreign students, including the study of vocabulary with regional and cultural semantics. The importance of including historical realities in the learning process is noted. As a result, the necessity to create an educational linguo-regional dictionary of the Russian language in the Urals for educational purposes is substantiated.
