Special Linguo-Cultural Studies Course for the Japanese Students: Transformations under Conditions of Distant Learning

Abstract. The paper reveals a potential for optimizing the process of the distance Russian language teaching at foreign higher school. The article presents an adapted model of the Russian language teaching at the Japanese higher school in the period of transition to distant learning. Scientific originality of the study lies in the fact that the author identifies ways to optimize the process of teaching the Russian language and culture at foreign higher school under the conditions of urgent transition to distant learning. The research findings are as follows: the author identifies ways to optimize the process of the distance Russian language teaching outside language environment.
