Pedagogical Conditions for Developing Students’ Social Interaction Competence in Collaborative Learning Activity

Abstract. The study aims to identify and substantiate pedagogical conditions involved in development of students’ social interaction competence in collaborative learning activity. The article provides a comparative analysis and summary of conditions involved in development of social interaction competence and competences of similar essence. The study is novel in that the author, in contrast to the existing scientific concepts, proposes and substantiates pedagogical conditions involved in development of students’ social interaction competence in collaborative learning activity. As a result, psychological and pedagogical studies dealing with conditions contributing to development of social interaction competence were analysed and the existing scientific concepts were summarised. Basing on the theoretical analysis and summary, pedagogical conditions facilitating development of students’ social interaction competence in collaborative learning activity were drafted.
