Attempt of Using a Mini-Site while Teaching the English Grammar to Correspondence Students

Abstract. The research objective is to identify advantages of using a mini-site in foreign language education and to determine its place in educational process. The article examines the problem of using modern information technologies while teaching the English grammar to secondary school students. Relying on practical experience of working with a mini-site, the authors propose recommendations on successful creation and effective support of a teacher’s mini-site and on controlling the level of skills while teaching the English grammar to correspondence students. Scientific originality of the paper involves developing recommendations on successful creation and effective support of a teacher’s mini-site and on controlling the level of grammatical skills while teaching the English grammar to correspondence students. The conditions for efficiency of a foreign language teacher’s mini-site are analysed, its place in educational process is determined.
