Formation of Future Mathematics Teachers’ Professional Competences Using Error Correction Tasks

Abstract. The article presents results of studying the techniques to form future Mathematics teachers’ professional competences. The authors describe the process of forming pedagogical students’ professional competences using error correction tasks within the framework of the discipline "Methodology of Teaching Mathematics". Stage-by stage methodology of using error correction tasks to form the key professional competences is proposed, which determines originality of the study. Special attention is paid to justifying the efficiency of error correction tasks when forming future Mathematics teachers’ professional competences.
