SERVICE-LEARNING AS A TECHNOLOGY OF PROFESSIONAL LEGAL TRAINING ON THE BASIS OF HIGHER SCHOOL JURIDICAL CLINICS

Abstract. The article is devoted to studying organizational and methodological aspects of clinical training and the potential of using "service-learning" technology in higher juridical education. Using formal juridical, historical, comparative methods and modelling techniques, the authors analyse the genesis of a juridical clinic as a means to form juridical students’ practical skills and abilities, examine modern doctrinal approaches to identifying the essence of this methodology. The authors justify the necessity to summarize the domestic experience of juridical clinics functioning, make proposals to improve their efficiency.
