USE OF TALK SHOW AS A PRACTICE-BASED TASK WHEN TEACHING FOREIGN LANGUAGE COMMUNICATION AT A PEDAGOGICAL HIGHER EDUCATION ESTABLISHMENT

Abstract. The article justifies the efficiency of talk show as a practice-based task, provides general recommendations on its organization and conduction. The paper covers such issues as stage-by-stage work to prepare and conduct a lesson in the talk show format, its structure, potential of talk show to develop learners’ communicative skills, to prepare them for real communication in a foreign language, to form their readiness for project-based activity focused on developing foreign language communicative skills by means of talk show.
