INTERACTIVE WHITEBOARD AS A MEANS FOR TEACHING ENGLISH TO STUDENTS WITH CLIP THINKING

Abstract. The article examines the problem of Y-generation students’ clip thinking and the ways to solve it at higher school English lessons by including into educational process an interactive whiteboard as a means, which helps to create high dynamism in the classroom. The author analyses in detail the reasons for the formation of such a type of thinking among the modern youth, identifies its positive and negative aspects. The paper considers the necessity to teach students linear thinking and to develop their skills of the English monologic speech. In this connection, the author discusses the possibility of using an interactive whiteboard as a means, which satisfies all the needs of students with clip thinking.
