STATUS OF SELF-GUIDED WORK IN THE EDUCATIONAL SPACE OF MODERN HIGHER SCHOOL

Abstract. Analyzing the conceptions of the subjects of higher school educational process on the status of self-guided work the author concludes that it has been transformed from the accumulator of fundamental knowledge to the activator of bachelors’ personal development. It is conditioned by such problems as formalism in organization, underestimation of self-guided work skills for further self-education, and insufficient development of mechanisms of external interaction (with the potential employers).
