THE USE OF INFORMATION-COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES IN FOREIGN LANGUAGE CLASSES AS A METHOD OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS’ COGNITIVE ABILITIES

Abstract. The article examines the possibilities of using information-communication technologies (ICT) in foreign language classes. In the modern educational process the use of ICT significantly expands the boundaries of educational opportunities. At the same time the use of computer technologies in education meets the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standards (FSES), in accordance with which the student is placed in the centre of the educational process, which allows choosing the trajectory of learning independently.
