EFFECT OF ABSURD IN POLITICAL DISCOURSE (BY THE EXAMPLE OF INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION)

Abstract. The aim of the work is to consider the specificity of political discourse in the aspect of the problem of absurd. The novelty of the study is in the analysis of the "absurd potential" of both the political discourse itself and particular discursive practices in interethnic communication. By the example of the Ukrainian-Russian crisis one can trace the conditionality of political absurd by the historical-cultural background, against which discursive practices revealed. Political discourse sharpens the historically formed conflict of national identities that, in turn, are the fruit of the synthesis of rational and irrational as a result of national construction.
