STATE OF INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS AND CIVIL IDENTITY IN THE REPUBLIC OF TATARSTAN (ACCORDING TO RESULTS OF STUDIES OF THE I QUARTER OF 2017)

Abstract. The article is devoted to the research of the state of interethnic relations and actualization of general civil identity in the Republic of Tatarstan. On the basis of the analysis of the results of studies conducted in the first quarter of 2017 the authors conclude that the respondents’ evaluation of the state of interethnic relations in their locality is positive. The dominant type of civil identity for the residents of the republic is dual Russian-Tatar identity.
