MATERIALS OF REGIONAL ARCHIVES AS A SOURCE ON HISTORY OF EVERYDAY LIFE OF THE RUSSIAN NOBILITY OF THE FIRST HALF OF THE XIX CENTURY

Abstract. The article analyzes funds of regional archives of the Russian Federation reflecting the characteristic features and main components of daily routine of the provincial nobility of the Central European and Middle Volga provinces of the first half of the XIX century. A classification of the presented corpus of unpublished sources is proposed on the basis of typological peculiarities of each group of archival materials. Particular attention is paid to the methods of the critical analysis of various types of sources; distinctive features of their application in studies on history of the Russian nobility’s everyday life are revealed.
