POLITICAL CULTURE AND POLITICAL SELF-DETERMINATION (BY THE EXAMPLE OF ORENBURG RESIDENTS)

Abstract. The article deals with the processes of political culture origin in antiquity, analyzes types of political culture and their dependence on power legality. An important element of civil society and legal state is political consciousness and political behaviour of citizens, therefore the typology of politicians derived by M. Weber is given. The aspect of political culture interaction with civil society is disclosed at the present stage of Russia development, where there is no serious political activity of citizens. On the basis of this interaction causes of Orenburg citizens’ political activity and ways to increase it are analyzed.
