Abstract. The article conducts philosophical analysis of parascience in the light of the main tendencies of postmodernity culture. Semantic relationship of parascience with various principles and ideas of postmodernity is revealed. The place of parascience in sociocultural space of postmodernity is determined. World-view foundations of postmodernity culture are considered. Influence of parascience on culture and mass consciousness of the modern society is identified. The author focuses on the study of culturological meaning of parascience in the context of postmodernity.
