MUSIC AS AN ETHICAL COMPONENT OF CULTURE: PERSONAL THERAPY OF EMOTIONAL ELEVATION

Abstract. The article examines the meaning of musical art in modern culture. Numerous collisions occurring when trying to find the world’s moral content created conditions for the ongoing human’s spiritual crisis. Potentials of philosophical knowledge to overcome it turned out to be insufficient. Dominating pragmatism of modern civilization can be counter-balanced only by joint efforts of thinkers, artists, creators of modern art in general. Music, appealing to the individual’s unconscious ethical element, is of undeniable value.
