VOLITION - WILL - POWER IN THE STRUCTURE OF EXISTENTIAL EXPERIENCE

Abstract. The article examines power as a phenomenon of human existential experience considered as an ability for self-control. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the concept "will" relying on the dialectic tradition realized in works by the domestic philosophers E. V. Ilyenkov and S. L. Rubinstein. The author concludes that power appears to be a result of specific synthesis of volition and will, in which formation of the human’s cultural essence occurs.
