Abstract. The article considers the musical story of the Concert for Piano with Orchestra by Sergey Petlyakovsky. The author analyzes peculiarities of the prosodic thesaurus, parameters of the orchestration and form-generation, suggests certain acoustic and visual associations arising in connection with this music. The researcher identifies prosodic arcs between the musical pieces, mentions certain scientific works, which served as an analytical basis of the research. The paper begins with brief biographical information about the composer.
