Abstract. This article examines S. L. Frank’s anthropological views from the standpoint of the categories of transcendence and immanence. The philosopher’s views of the anthropological structure of the man are analyzed: from the physical aspect to the spiritual one, up to the conception of God-manhood. The author makes a suggestion about possible origins of such views of the philosopher. It is concluded that the very anthropological arrangement, according to the philosopher’s thought, represents mystical connection between the empirical and spiritual moments of being.
