Abstract. In the article the necessity of the detailed philosophical, culturological, sociological analysis of socio-cultural space as the most complete, multidimensional manifestation of reality is substantiated. Separating "socio-cultural space" from the categories "social space" and "cultural space", which are close to it, the author concludes that the comprehensive analysis of socio-cultural space with identification of its qualities, boundaries, systemic characteristics is impossible in isolation from concrete manifestations of sociocultural specificity.
