Abstract. In the article the statement about exclusively peasant content and anti-communist orientation of the rebellion protest of the 1920s is doubted. The author believes that it is necessary to consider the rebellion movement of the 1920s as an independent historic phenomenon closely associated with the traditional peasant protest, but different from the latter in a number of positions, which are mobility, a wider range of participants, and initiative constructive principles in programs and slogans.
