ECONOMIC RESULTS OF LAND SOCIALIZATION AND ORIGINS OF ANTONOV’S REBELLION

Abstract. The article examines economic results of land socialization. The author concludes that land relations established under Bolsheviks’ influence along with "military communism" policy resulted in sharp decrease of planting acreage and later on in reduction of gross production in the agrarian sector. These processes influenced negatively the dynamics of peasant economy development. The country’s leadership tended to consider peasantry as a source of labour resources for the town. The paper analyzes the economic situation in districts, which became the center of Antonov’s rebellion.
