Abstract. In the article the philosophical analysis of the problem of integration processes of tolerance and social reality in the modern society is carried out. The authors identify issues that accompany these processes, as well as reasons for their occurrence. Particular attention is paid to the principle of tolerance as a sociocultural norm, value, guideline affecting functioning of the societal system. The field of sociocultural interactions on the society scale, as well as the vector of societal processes, is determined.
