METHODOLOGICAL DIFFERENCES OF THINKING RESEARCH IN PHILOSOPHY AND COGNITIVE SCIENCES

Abstract. The article is devoted to the issue of relationship of philosophy and science (cognitive science), boundaries of the thinking category. Thinking is an object of cognitive studies in various manifestations (neurobiological cognitive science, different particular cognitive sciences, cognitive approach) and it does not always coincide with the philosophical idea about it. The cognitive science asserts biological conditionality of thinking. Philosophy has kept the speculative level and approaches in sciences.
