Abstract. The process of globalization of the modern world is one of the main theoretical problems of the humanities knowledge. It is obvious that together with the change in the socio-economic sphere of life, the sphere of human consciousness has undergone a serious transformation. The existing opportunities for global communication leave their mark on the process of socialization of the rising generations. The individuals, who are not socially experienced to the full extent, cannot often distinguish truth from lie, which are closely intertwined in the global network.
