MORAL FOUNDATIONS OF ECONOMICS OF MODERN RUSSIA: SEARCH FOR NEW APPROACHES

Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of applicability of the Eurocentric model of social development in Russia. Prospects of original moral and economic teachings in domestic philosophical and scientific thought are evaluated. It is shown that previous ethical norms are rejected and instead the cult of consumption and selfishness are proposed. The author establishes correlation of material and spiritual factors influencing development of the modern Russian society and points to the need of creating its own economic and moral doctrine.
