SPECIFICITY OF THE BURYATS’ LAND-USE IN THE XIX - AT THE BEGINNING OF THE XX CENTURY

Abstract. The article examines historical peculiarities of land relations in the Buryat ulus community of the XIX - the beginning of the XX century. Relying on archival materials and other sources the author describes the ulus community in the transitional period of its development, when the patrimonial possessory right and patrimonial land-use closely interweaved with the communal-territorial possessory right and land-use. The ulus community is considered as a complicated social institute representing all-Russian socio-economic processes and regional phenomena in their historical integrity.
