ON THE ISSUE OF GENESIS OF MODERN FINLAND POLITICAL POPULISM

Abstract. The article reveals the problem of genesis of modern Finland political populism in the context of its links with classical Nazism and fascism. Main attention is paid to history of formation and development of the leading right-radical and nationalist organizations of Finland in the XX century - the Lapua Movement, the Patriotic People’s Movement and the organization "Suomen Sisu". The author comes to the conclusion that they played a very significant role in forming ideology and organization of the party "The True Finns" - the leading populist party in the country at the moment.
