VIRTUAL REALITY AND REALITY: THE PROBLEM OF RELATIONSHIP

Abstract. The article is devoted to the comparative analysis of actual reality as external world of users and virtual reality. The goal is to specify their ontological status categorically in order to reveal their specificity. The analysis discloses a number of features that do not provide a basis for mixing virtual realities with those realities (mental, artistic) that a number of researchers bring under the general rubric of "virtual" and with the actual reality.
