METAPHORS OF EXISTENTIAL CRISIS IN THE CONTEXT OF CLASSICAL GERMAN PHILOSOPHY: DENIAL AS THE ABSOLUTE ACTIVITY (PART 1)

Abstract. The article analyzes substantiation of the method of denial in I. Kant’s and G. Hegel’s philosophical works. The tautology of the identity "Absolute is Absolute", brought to the crisis limits of confrontation with the existing, i.e. which has become "empty", is recognized by both thinkers as unproductive from the philosophical point of view. Denial as activity of the Absolute (part 1 of the article), as well as consequences of this theoretical position (part 2 of the article) allow considering several worldview options of overcoming the existential crisis.
