N. A. YASHMANOV’S CREATIVITY: FROM OBJECT-IMAGE TO EASEL PAINTING

Abstract. In the article for the first time in the practice of art criticism creativity of N. A. Yashmanov, one of the founders of the school of art enamel in St. Petersburg of the XX-XXI centuries, is considered. By the example of his creative search in the 1980-2010s the paper studies the process of formation of an independent direction in the art of enamel - easel enamel; identifies two main ways of development in the artist’s creativity: easel enamel painting and conceptual-spatial design.
