STATE YOUTH POLICY AT THE TURN OF THE 1950-1960S AS A FACTOR OF FORMATION OF AESTHETIC CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE SOVIET YOUTH

Abstract. After studying documents of the Central Committee of the Komsomol of the late 1950s - early 1960s, the author comes to the conclusion that despite open orientation of educational work with the young people, first of all, at fulfilling ideological tasks (fighting "bourgeois influence" and "remnants of the past", propaganda of communism), a huge place in the official Soviet discourse was occupied by issues of formation of aesthetic public consciousness of the youth.
