Embassy of the State of Libya in the Russian Federation
Abstract. The article examines Libya political crisis that occurred during the "Arab spring". The author discovers peculiarities of Libya protest movement, analyzes polarization of forces, motives for public discontent, ethnic and intertribal contradictions in the country. The paper emphasizes immediate contribution of external forces, first of all, western countries to destabilization of situation in the country. Special attention is paid to the passive role of the UNO and the African Union in Libya crisis.
