THE PARTITION OF PATRIMONIAL LANDS OF THE BASHKIRS AT THE BEGINNING OF THE ХХ CENTURY

Abstract. The agrarian question at the beginning of the XX century remained one of the most important tasks in the socio-economic life of the country. This forced the tsarist government to take new steps in resolving the peasant resettlement. On the basis of archival materials the authors consider the process of seizing the patrimonial lands of the Bashkirs, conducted systematically by the tsarist government. Proceeding from this, the task is set to show the ways of dividing the patrimonial lands of the Bashkir population by the tsarist authorities, which led to the liquidation of patrimonial law of the Bashkirs.
