TROPES IN THE PROJECT METHODOLOGY OF THE DOMESTIC GRAPHIC DESIGN OF THE XX-XXI CENTURIES

Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of categories of tropes in graphic design. The preconditions for the actualization of the problem of studying tropes in the modern visual environment are indicated. The new formulation of the question of tropes implies its study as an independent problem of graphic design, significant in the context of finding additional creative resources and methods of forming an image in design. The author analyzes the approaches to the study and application of the trope transformations in the creation of visual communication. Based on the analysis, the conclusions are drawn about the degree of the question elaboration, the specific use of the tropes and the prospects for their further study in graphic design.
