Abstract. Based on the method of comparative studies the article examines the problem of understanding human as a paradigm, which is considered necessarily in various cultural and philosophical traditions. Understanding the priority of human research in examining various urgent problems allows us to speak about the fundamental nature of the anthropological paradigm, which is especially significant in the study of the modern scientific picture of the world, oriented toward social and human values and methods. This range of problems can determine the goals and methods of a variety of activity. The article focuses on the specificity of Russian philosophical anthropology.
