BUDDHIST DIPLOMACY IN RELATIONS OF CHINA, JAPAN AND THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA

Abstract. The article is devoted to the study of the practice of applying Buddhist diplomacy by the example of the largest Asian state of the People’s Republic of China in relations with its eastern neighbors, the economic giants of the region Japan and the Republic of Korea. The paper also reveals the factors that influenced the development of Buddhist diplomacy in China, the formation of its features in the communist period of the history of the Celestial Empire.
