Abstract. The article examines poorly investigated in the modern theatre studies phenomenon of "composed performances", considers the problem of their interaction with the traditional drama theatre forms by the example of three performances of Saint Petersburg Theater Pokoleniy: "The Light Bulb", "The Table" and "Peter-Burg". Relying on the critical surveys and his personal participation experience the author characterizes each performance, provides a brief analysis of techniques to work on "composed performances" and summarizes their influence on Theater Pokoleniy development.
