Abstract. The article deals with the main socio-economic and public forms of the Evens’ organization in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The work covers the historical prerequisites for the formation of the Evens’ public associations, their activity and significance. It is noted that the Evens’ communities over the past three decades have demonstrated the considerable ability to adapt to the political and socio-economic transformations. The Evens in Yakutia have made significant progress in defending their rights and preserving their own ethnocultural identity.
