Abstract. The article continues the author’s research in the problem of using textile traditions of the peoples of the world in modern fashion. For the first time, a certain pattern of interest in the national costume and the features of its manifestation in specific historical periods of development, in particular in the conditions of the consumer culture society, are considered.
