TRANSFORMATION OF THE SYSTEM OF CULTURE CONTROL OF THE TASSR IN THE 1950-1960S

Abstract. The article analyzes the process of transforming the system of the TASSR culture control in the 1950-1960s. Culture played an important role in forming the value system in the Soviet society. The author concludes that during this period the constant reorganization testified that the search for an optimal model of interaction between the authorities and the creative intelligentsia was conducted, which allowed controlling the latter without the use of harsh repressive measures.
