"TEMPLE OF SCIENCE" BY A. A. ZIMIN AS A SOURCE ON HISTORY OF COMMUNICATIVE FIELD OF THE SOVIET HISTORICAL SCIENCE

Abstract. The focus of the work is on the memoirs of the prominent Soviet historian A. A. Zimin "Temple of Science". Speaking about the relevance of the introduction of this historiographic source into scientific use, the author proposes to consider it in the context of communication connections. It is noted that, in addition to the unique information about the historian’s creativity and scientific laboratory, memories immerse the reader in a broad "extra-scientific" field of group interests, institutional ties and other manifestations of the life of the Soviet science in the 1940-1970s.
