THE MONGOLIAN-RUSSIAN ECONOMIC RELATIONS AT THE BEGINNING OF THE XXI CENTURY: DYNAMICS AND PROBLEMS

Abstract. The article analyzes trade and economic relations between Mongolia and Russia from 2000 to 2017. The relevance of the research topic is conditioned by the fact that the relations of this type contribute to the consolidation of interstate relations, the strengthening of the domestic market of both countries and the provision of additional revenue for the state budget. The authors study the contractual and legal base of the Mongolian-Russian relations, outline the main stages of trade and economic cooperation, examine the content of each of these stages and identify the factors that have influenced their development.
