Abstract. In view of the statement of the fact of postindustrial society formation and the associated modifications of daily practice, it becomes obvious for philosophical thought that it is necessary to study the food culture of the present, acting as a supporting institution for the formation of human anthropic characteristics. The article proposes a study of the transformations of an anthropological status of the subject in a consumer society.
