THE SPREADING OF THE MOTION-PICTURE INDUSTRY IN TYUMEN KRAI IN 1919-1939

Abstract. The article deals with the question of the spreading of the motion-picture industry in Tyumen Krai during the first Soviet twenty years. The author presents the archival and statistical data of the expansion of the film network in the region, identifies the existing personnel problems and the difficulties in the spreading of the motion-picture industry in the rural and northern national territories, makes a valid conclusion that positive changes began in the spreading of the motion-picture industry in the region in the 1920s-1930s.
