THE PECULIARITIES OF K. N. LEONTIEV’S ESCHATOLOGICAL ETHICS

Abstract. The article analyzes the features of the ethical views of the Russian philosopher K. N. Leontiev. It is noted that traditionally the research interest to the ethical stratum of the philosopher’s creative work is low. This is unjustified, since it is in ethics that the ideological core is contained that helps to understand the political, historical, cultural and even religious views of K. N. Leontiev. The study substantiates the idea that "eschatological ethics" is the most adequate term for the moral searches of the philosopher.
