TYPOLOGIZATION OF SOCIAL GROUPS ON THE BASIS OF LIFESTYLE

Abstract. The article is devoted to the problem of criteria for differentiation of the society. The author notes that the models developed earlier do not take into account many current tendencies in the development of the society and analyzes a new multidimensional model of stratification based on lifestyle. Typologization of groups according to the style of life is based on personal and behavioral characteristics, demanded by the modern society. Groups conditionally named "innovators", "acting ones", "traditionalists", and "surviving ones" are singled out. The indicator model of lifestyle research is formed. The conclusions are confirmed by the results of an empirical study conducted on the basis of the indicator model of lifestyle.
