HISTORICAL REALITY: THE CONTENT AND THE VOLUME OF THE NOTION

Abstract. The article reveals the content and determines the volume of the notion "historical reality", which is used in historical science, philosophy of history and ontological studies of the existence of mankind in time. The idea is substantiated that this notion, implying the development of mankind as a single organic whole, is individual in its volume. The scientific novelty of the study is in applying formal logic to characterize this ultimate philosophical notion.
