Abstract. The article deals with the social and philosophical aspects of the problem of human being’s place in changing world. The author pays particular attention to the analysis of the position of a person in the society in the modern information age, and a certain place is given to the history of philosophy and futurological conceptions. The mutual inverse relationship between the status of the human being existence in nature and society and the philosophical transcendence generated by it is traced.
