THE CONDITIONS OF EXISTENCE IN PRISON IN THE PERIOD OF STALIN’S REPRESSION IN THE CONTEXT OF STUDYING THE SOCIOCULTURAL TRAUMA

Abstract. The article deals with one of the elements of the formation of the socio-cultural trauma of Stalin’s repression - the detention conditions, or the trauma of imprisonment. On the basis of the historical sources - the protocols of interrogations, the reports, the personal documents, concentrated in the archives and investigation files of the Perm State Archives of Social and Political History, as well as the published materials, the author analyzes the symptoms of trauma, and determines the significance of this topic in the formation of the trauma of repression.
